Global Kids Speak - Competitions and Benefits of Public Speaking

We are delighted to embark on our third year at Global Kids Speak and have thoroughly enjoyed witnessing the personal growth and development of the students in public speaking. As we prepare for the upcoming June 2024 and December 2024 competitions, we are excited to continue this enriching journey with the students and their families. There are presently five students enrolled in the program.

This program, sponsored and funded by our alumna Andrea Sampson Edwards, is a virtual school, hosting classes online every Wednesday at 6:30p.m. EST. It is a flexible platform allowing for convenient participation from the comfort of your own home. The association will sponsor two additional students in June and December. "Alumna Dr. Cheryl Smith (Durant) has also sponsored one student for this program.

Enrolling in this public speaking classes offers a comprehensive approach to personal and professional growth. Through our curriculum, individuals can expect to cultivate essential skills such as confidence building, effective communication, critical thinking, leadership development and more.
