Present from DMV:  Beverley Drake, Thelma Jenkins, Cheryl Chin-Bunyan, Cecilia Oliver, Leila Gomes-Griffith, Claire Agard, Thora Jenkins, Celeste Harris-Hendy & Desiree Anthony-Payne  

Present from NY: Beverly deAndrade-Waaldijk, Jennifer Harding, Karen Gray, Denise Harris-Durant, Lorraine Croft-Farnell & Byron Henry Jr.

1. We met at Boca Raton Florida Copper Canyon Grill ... Address: 928 Ellsworth Drive, Silver Spring, Maryland.  

2. The event was a meet and greet - it seems that folks here have a tendency to push back - in retrospect it seems to be better for us in DC to get together, canvass the group, gather to see the level of interest, coalesce the ideas and then get the NY chapter involved.  No funds were dispensed from the Association since all attendees paid for their individual dinners.

3. The participants who showed up for the DMV group stated that they wanted a low-keyed and non-committal event without the oversight/alliance/compliance to a parent group's).  

4. More like a social club. One of the participants stated that it is spring and that we should plan another event. It was an informal get together and we were joined by some members of the NY Chapter.
