The fund raising committee spearheaded the following fund raising events which yielded profits as outlined below:  The goal of the committee was to raise $10,000.00 during this fiscal year which was exceeded.

Memorial Weekend Dance May 30th, 2010 $4,112.14

Tri School Dance with St. Stanislaus & St. Joseph’s September 4, 2010   3,460.37

Tea Party November 6, 2010   2,110.00
            
Raffle drawn at Tea Party on November 6, 2010      430.00

Valentine’s Brunch & Chinese Auction & Donation February 13, 2011    1,102.00  
Total profit to date $11,214.51

Future Events:

The Committee entered into an agreement with Anne Blue on Church Avenue, Brooklyn, to use their facility to host the Memorial Week-end Dance on Sunday May 29, 2011.  St. Rose’s will be responsible for stocking the bar and selling the drinks and to provide any hors d’oeuvres, if so desired.  Anne Blue will obtain the liquor license.

During the last quarter of last year we met with representatives from St. Stanislaus and St. Joseph’s to wrap up the Labor Week-end dance and to discuss the 2011 dance.  A recommendation was made to check for alternative venues since Nazareth’s facilities were not considered suitable.  DJ Flexx was contracted for this event.  There have been no further meetings to date on this event.

The co-chairs sincerely thank all committee members and others who have assisted in the execution of these events in many different ways.  Your generosity and commitment are truly commendable.
