August 2010
Greetings to our Fellow Alumni:
In behalf of our Executive Board and our members for whom we represent, kindly accept our greetings to each and every one of you.
Working to better serve our Alma Mater in Guyana, we are continuing to improve the quality of education through:
- Establishing a network among past pupils worldwide;
- Improving the physical environment of our Alma Mater;
- Raising funds for meeting the needs of the present pupils, faculty, and other staff by utilizing our membership resources.
In the true meaning of the “word that wakes our spirits,” we are indebted to fellow alumni who have been able to participate in our work toward accomplishing our three goals. Further, we need others to join in this great, invaluable task of giving back. Knowing the great sacrifice it takes to participate in volunteerism, permit us to encourage all to remember the value that St. Rose’s staff, peers, and families have added to our lives. That said, we need your involvement, your participation, your financial support, and your commitment. Please consider this.
Please know that we collaboratively work with our Canada Chapter to fulfill needs of the pupils, families, and staff members of the St. Rose’s High School community in Guyana. This work, with the guidance of our liaison the Board of Governors, contributes toward great academic outcomes.
If you are a member, we thank you for your continued support, commitment, and guidance. If you are not a member, we ask that you join us in this invaluable work by completing the membership form.
Continued Blessings!
